AJeffrey D. Goldman is among the nation’s top music litigators, having represented as lead counsel all of the world’s major record companies and music publishing companies, and having received an Honorary Gold Record by the Recording Industry Association of America for his work on the Napster copyright infringement case. His clients have included all of the world’s largest record companies and music publishing companies, Apple, Coca-Cola, Muhammad Ali, Eminem, and Dr. Dre.
Goldman’s specialized areas of litigation include intellectual property, copyright, and music industry litigation. Recently, he was successful in two Ninth Circuit appeals on important issues for the copyright bar. In 2018, Goldman also represented two members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band The Rascals, as well as their manager Steven Van Zandt of the E Street Band and The Sopranos, in Beata Music, LLC v. Dino Danelli and Eddie Brigati, a trademark infringement action.
