THE LATEST: Feldman joined real estate investment firm KBS Direct in 2018 and helped grow net asset value of the company’s portfolio by more the 6% last year. KBS also launched a direct investment real estate fund for accredited investors online with its KBSDirect. com platform.

BACKGROUND: Feldman founded private equity group Heritage Capital Ventures in 2015 to invest in online financial technologies. He also is president for commercial real estate company KBS Direct. Previously, Feldman worked for nearly 10 years at the law firm of Goodwin Procter, helping to found its California offices. He was a member of its real estate capital markets group, founded the crowdfunding practice and led the public finance practice.

WORTH NOTING: Feldman serves as a board chairman of the UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate at the Anderson School of Management. He received his law degree from the School of Law at UC Davis.
