Get Heal Inc., a Century City-based company that makes physician house calls at the touch of a mobile app, has named one-time Qualcomm Inc. Chief Executive and Chairman Paul Jacobs and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush to its board. Jacobs, now chairman at Heal, is chief executive of Xcom Services, a La Jolla-based wireless technology company he launched last year. Jacobs left the firm his father founded after a failed hostile takeover attempt by Broadcom Inc. Bush, who led Florida from 1999 to 2007 where he launched a pilot program to privately manage Medicaid, has advised Fortune 500 companies on health care policy issues. He was a Republican candidate for president in 2016. Get Heal, which arranges home doctor visits starting at $99 has delivered more than 100,000 house calls paid for by all major PPO insurance plans in California, according to the company, which was founded four years ago.
