Mark DiNapoli is president and general manager of the West Region for Suffolk Construction, overseeing the strategic direction, projects, client relationships and operations in San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego. DiNapoli promotes the company’s “build smart” ethos in key markets. He also works to implement Suffolk’s processes and technologies – such as virtual design and construction and lean construction principles – in all the company’s regional offices. He previously served as Suffolk’s Northeast president and general manager for more than 26 years, where he launched Suffolk’s dedicated health care, education and science and technology practices. Suffolk’s Northeast region during DiNapoli’s tenure was ranked as one of the “Area’s Largest General Contractors” on Engineering News Record’s list of “Top Construction Management at Risk Firms.” He is a board member of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce and the Los Angeles Business Counsel and is co-chairman of the Land Use, Construction and Housing Council. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
