Pasadena-based Tetra Tech Inc. announced Wednesday that it received a $45 million contract from the National Guard Bureau.

Under the five-year contract, consulting engineering firm Tetra Tech said it will provide architectural and design services to support projects for the National Guard in a joint venture with Wisconsin-based engineering firm Mead & Hunt. Services provided will include master planning, value engineering studies, and facility design.

“Tetra Tech has provided technical support services to the National Guard Bureau for more than 15 years, including the previous A-E design services contract,” said Dan Batrack, Tetra Tech’s chairman and chief executive, in a statement. “We look forward to continuing to support their mission requirements throughout the United States and its territories.”

Tetra Tech, a U.S. government and commercial contractor, reported second quarter profits of $74.8 million in its fiscal year 2016, up 7 percent from same-quarter profits last year.
