Carson Takes Stand Against Oil Industry by Introducing Tough Regulations

Carson has adopted the toughest regulations on oil and gas production in the state, The Daily News reported. The laws, pending finalization, originated with a resident protest two years ago against Occidental Petroleum Corp.’s controversial and now-shuttered plan to drill 200 new oil and gas wells.
