Despite tepid reviews, Warner Bros.’ “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” posted the biggest pre-summer box office opening ever, taking in $170.1 million in the U.S., the Los Angeles Times reports. The opening surpasses the previous leader, 2012’s “The Hunger Games” ($152.2 million) and marks the largest opening for a Batman film.
