David Litt, a former speechwriter for President Barack Obama, is joining Funny or Die as head writer and producer of the Hollywood video website and production company’s Washington, D.C. operations, Variety reported Wednesday.

He was the lead joke writer for the last four White House Correspondents Association dinners, and helped produce viral videos for the administration.
