Uncertain Future at Aliso Canyon

Attention has turned to the future of the gas storage field at Aliso Canyon, according to the Los Angeles Times. On Monday, the Senate energy committee will hear a bill to extend a moratorium on injecting gas there until Southern California Gas completes safety measures. The gas field can’t be shut down: the L.A. area depends on it.
