Brentwood private equity firm Angeles Equity Partners announced Wednesday that its affiliate has acquired U.G.N. Inc., an automotive noise damping products maker headquartered in Chicago Heights, Ill. The business will now operate under the name Applied Acoustics International. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Century City alternative asset manager Ares Management announced Wednesday that one of its real estate funds has acquired two designer outlet centers in the French cities of Troyes and Roubaix from Resolution Property for about $223 million.

Beverly Hills investment firm Gores Group announced Wednesday it has sold Etrali Trading Solutions, a Paris-based provider of communications infrastructure and services for financial trading, to financial communications firm IPC Systems of Jersey City, NJ. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Gores Group also announced Tuesday that it has completed the acquisition of Canonsburg, Penn. captioning provider VITAC Corp. from Merrill Corp., a provider of platforms for secure content sharing headquartered in St. Paul, Minn. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
