Semiconductor manufacturer Trio Tech International was Tuesday’s biggest local gainer among stocks trading above $1. Shares of the company rose 6 percent to close at $2.86.

Tuesday’s biggest loser among stocks trading above $1 was MannKind Corp. Shares of the company fell 9 percent to close at $1.66.
