The Ventura City Council has given a Los Angeles developer the OK to submit an application to build a luxury housing development in the hills above the city, the Ventura County Star reports. The council voted 4-1 to allow Regent Properties to propose building 55 executive houses in a project named La Viera.
According to the Star, Regent wants to build homes with open space and public trails on 215 acres in the hills above Ventura High School.
