The odds for Los Angeles becoming the host city for the 2024 Olympics just shot up. Hamburg, Germany, withdrew from the race Sunday, CBS Los Angeles reports.

Hamburg officials made the decision after the majority of its residents voted not to support the bid.

As a result, Los Angeles is now one of four cities – Paris, Rome, and Budapest, Hungary – competing for the games.

Los Angeles and Paris are considered the top two contenders.
