The Dow Jones industrial average fell 50 points in Tuesday trading to close at 17,082.

The S&P 500 fell 14 points to 2,004.

The Nasdaq fell 42 points to 4,797.

The LABJ Stock Index fell two points to 227.

Gainers and Losers

Spanish-language radio and TV station owner Entravision Communications Corp. of Santa Monica was Tuesday’s biggest local gainer among stocks trading above $1. Shares rose 20 percent on the day, closing at $8.08.

Tuesday’s biggest loser was Westwood oil giant California Resources Corp.

Shares fell 14 percent on the day, closing at $4.05.
