Beverly Hills firm Platinum Equity announced Monday that it has completed the acquisition of Irving, Texas, construction fastener maker PrimeSource Building Products Inc. from Japan’s Itochu Corp. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Manhattan Beach impact investing firm TriLinc Global Impact Fund announced Wednesday that it has funded $3.97 million in trade finance loans for companies in Argentina and South Africa. The firm also announced Wednesday that it has named London firm Helios Investment Advisors as a sub-adviser for investments in sub-Saharan Africa.
