Dodgers Trading Matt Kemp to Padres, Sources Say

The Los Angeles Dodgers traded Matt Kemp and Tim Federowicz to the San Diego Padres in exchange for catcher Yasmani Grandal, right-hander Joe Wieland and another pitcher, possibly right-hander Zach Eflin, sources told U-T San Diego, though the deal has not been officially announced. The Dodgers would send the Padres about $30 million to cover a portion of the $107 million that remains on Kemp’s contract.
