Thermal ticket and receipt printer manufacturer FutureLogic Inc. has named a new chief executive and made other changes to its senior management.
Peter Murphy was promoted to head the privately-held Glendale company after serving as chief operating officer starting in 2013. He replaces Eric Meyerhofer, who will remain as the chairman of the board.
Nick Ortyl has joined the company as chief operating officer. Prior to FutureLogic, Ortyl had been vice president and general manager at L-3 Communications
Murphy said he was thrilled with the new leadership team at FutureLogic, a manufacturer of ticket printers used in the gaming and medical industries, at gas stations and voting booths.
“I am pleased that the company is in capable hands as we continue to develop new markets and expand our portfolio of innovative ticketing and couponing solutions,” said Murphy, in a prepared statement.
