The Federal Trade Commission has put aside antitrust concerns and cleared the way for the $290 million sale of International Rectifier Corp.’s power management business to Vishay Intertechnology Inc., executives at the El Segundo firm said Wednesday.
The sale to the Malvern, Pa., company is expected to close by April 1, rather than the February 26 date cited when the deal was announced in November.
Shares in International Rectifier were up 66 cents to $37.85.
