In Wednesday trading, the Dow Jones industrial average closed up 308 points, or more than 2 percent, to 13,413.
The Nasdaq rose 93 points, or 3 percent, to 3,112.
The S&P 500 rose 36 points, or 2.5 percent, to 1,462.
The LABJ Stock Index rose more than 3 points, or 3 percent, to 138.
