In Wednesday morning trading, the Dow Jones industrial average rose 6 points to 13,489.

The Nasdaq rose 4.5 points to 3,125.

The S&P 500 rose less than 1 point to 1,446.

The LABJ Stock Index rose less than 1 point to 139.
