Hudson Pacific Properties Inc. on Monday said that it acquired a Torrance office building for $27.5 million in cash.
The Los Angeles real estate company, which went public in June, said the 113,000 square-foot property at 3501 Sepulveda Blvd. is fully leased to national advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi North America.
The deal for the Del Amo Office Building includes full ownership of the ground sublease for the 2.3-acre property.
Del Amo “meets our acquisition criteria for well-located, quality suburban office buildings,” said President Howard S. Stern in a statement. “It has a prime position in an established market, easily accessible from the area’s major thoroughfares with abundant nearby amenities, including the Del Amo Fashion Center.”
Hudson Pacific, founded by real estate executive Victor Coleman, has a portfolio of Southern California commercial real estate, including a concentration of Hollywood properties, such as KTLA-TV’s Sunset Bronson studios.
Shares closed down 9 cents, or less than a percent, to $16.50 on the New York Stock Exchange.
