Conspiracy Entertainment Holdings Inc. on Monday announced it had completed a one-for-three reverse common stock split in an effort to improve its share price.
The Santa Monica developer, publisher and marketer of interactive entertainment software said that every three shares of stock was being exchanged for one share of common stock, effective April 22. That reduced the total number of shares outstanding from approximately 75 million to 25 million. The stock is traded on the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board.
“In an effort to improve the capital structure of the company, we believed the reverse stock split will enable our company to increase the investor audience and interest in our common stock,” said Chief Executive Sirus Ahmadi in a press release.
The company’s products include Doctor Fizzwizzle’s Animal Rescue for Wii; Heracles: Battle with the Gods for Nintendo DC, and SBK: Superbike World Championship on several gaming platforms.
Shares were trading up 4 cents, or 133 percent, to 7 cents in midday trading on the bulletin board.
