DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc. said Chief Financial Officer Kristina Leslie is leaving the company before February of next year.

The Glendale-based studio said she will stay on until the company’s annual report is completed, which should be early next year. A search will begin immediately for her replacement.

Leslie has been with DreamWorks since the company went public in late 2004. Prior to that, she was the finance chief of DreamWorks Studios for eight years.

DreamWorks shares were down 48 cents to $28.11 early Friday.
