My Favorite Sites

overlawyered.com
This is a great resource for tracking frivolous lawsuits around the United States and the world. The site has a constant running narrative of lawsuits, and they have topics such as class action lawsuits and lawsuits related to schools. I like to check once every couple of weeks to see if there are any new or outrageous suits.
rtumble.com
I check this site every day. It gives a synopsis of stories in different newspapers. Being a newcomer to California, it is a place that I can go every morning to find all of the major newspapers around the state and links to public affairs.
ss.ca.gov
This is the California Secretary of State’s Web site. It’s a great resource for legislation, to discover who is contributing to campaigns and to find filing deadlines. As a watchdog group, it’s an invaluable resource in finding out who is giving money to campaigns. The site also has links to assembly and senate information.
projo.com
I moved to California from Providence, R.I. a year and a half ago. This is the site of the Providence newspaper. It lets me know when my friends have made the news and allows me to follow my favorite teams. During the winter, I look at the weather report and am glad that I am in Southern California and not in Providence.
