Disney Crosses Billion Barrier
Walt Disney Co. has crossed the $1 billion mark in overseas box-office grosses this year, the fourth year in a row its has accomplished that milestone.
The year’s top performer for Burbank-based Disney is “Armageddon,” with $232 million, followed by “The Horse Whisperer” with $105 million. The animated feature “Mulan” recently crossed the $100 million barrier.
