Carlos Alberini has led downtown-based Guess Inc. as chief executive since February 2019, returning from a leadership post at downtown-based Lucky Brand from 2014 to 2019. From 2000 to 2010, Alberini was president and chief operating officer at Guess. Under his leadership, the company wrapped up fiscal year 2025 with a $3 billion revenue, an 8% increase year-over-year, and acquired New York-based fashion brand rag & bone with WHP Global in 2024. As of May 3, 2025, Guess directly operated 1,074 stores across Europe, Asia and the Americas. After Guess went private in January through a $1.4 billion acquisition by New York-based Authentic Brands Group, Alberini stayed on as chief executive.
