Sawtelle-based Kilroy Realty Corp. shook things up with its board of directors last month. Gary Stevenson, who has served on the company’s board since 2014, has taken over chairmanship duties from Edward Brennan, who has held the seat since 2024.

Boyle Heights-based AquaSonic is making moves with another major retailer expansion.

The oral care brand now has one of its lines of electric toothbrushes in Target Corp. stores nationwide. This deal follows last year’s debut of another toothbrush line in Walmart Inc. stores and its longtime agreement with Walgreens stores.

AquaSonic Chief Executive Arsalan Rahbarpoor, also co-founder and chief executive of AquaSonic owner Onyx Global Group, told the Business Journal last year that the company strived to fill the space between budget toothbrushes and top-shelf offerings.

“Our expansion with Target is a meaningful step forward in AquaSonic’s long-term growth strategy,” Rahbarpoor said in a statement.

In keeping with its growth, AquaSonic also relocated its headquarters from Chinatown to Boyle Heights last year.
