Robert Jernigan has joined the Los Angeles office of Gensler as technical director. Prior to joining, Jernigan was a vice president with DMJM/Keating.

Patrick Houghton and Natarajan Subrahmanyan, securities analysts specializing in telecommunications, have joined Sutro & Co. Inc. Houghton and Subrahmanyan come to Sutro from Wheat First Union, where together they were responsible for coverage of telecommunications equipment and networking companies.
Lisa Reed has joined the Century City offices of Neuberger & Berman LLC as director of individual asset management. She will market the firm’s services to L.A.’s high-net-worth individuals, trusts, foundations and families. Most recently, Reed served as taxable fixed income senior portfolio manager at Scudder Kemper Investments Inc.
Joseph C. Sherwood III has been named managing director in the corporate finance department at Van Kasper & Co. He will be responsible for directing the company’s public offerings, private placements and financial advisory services. Prior to joining Van Kasper, Sherwood was managing director of corporate finance for Cruttenden Roth Inc.

Michael Lang has been promoted to vice president, business development, marketing and sales for DisneyQuest. His new responsibilities will include overseeing the marketing and sales teams. Lang joined Disney in 1992 as a member of the corporate strategic planning department.
Health Care
Lorraine Salvatore has been promoted to vice president of network development and management and specialty networks for Blue Cross of California. Her responsibilities include contracting and servicing statewide networks for ancillary providers. Previously, Salvatore served as assistant vice president of provider relations and director of corporate development for Blue Shield of California.
High-Tech
Dana Nelson has been appointed professional development manager at the Los Angeles office of Keane Inc., a Boston-based information technology consulting firm. She will be responsible for providing timely and accurate feedback to Keane consultants. Previously, Nelson was a project coordinator at Lend Lease REI.
Jonathan Page has joined Anyware Technology as director of channel sales. He will be responsible for developing the company’s Channel Partner Program. Most recently, Page was the Western regional sales manager for Datatech Enterprises.
Daniel Shapero has been appointed vice president of marketing at MineShare. He will oversee the company’s global marketing efforts. Prior to joining, Shapero served as the principal for Global Technology Group.
Philip S. Viener has been appointed to the newly created position of vice president of marketing for CareerPath.com. Previously, Viener served as senior director of discount retail acceptance at MasterCard International.
Alex Wijnen has been named president of Clifford Electronics. His primary task will be to further accelerate the company’s position in the marketplace. Most recently, Wijnen was president and chief executive of Vivitar.

Mike Wylie has been named director of Internet marketing for the hotel division of Hilton Hotels Corp. He will be responsible for managing the development of the company’s Web site and developing marketing strategies to further Hilton’s Internet initiatives. Most recently, Wylie served as senior client manager for Hilton’s Web-site account at the Synapse Group.

Daniel A. Lev has joined the Los Angeles office of Arter & Hadden LLP as of counsel. He will become part of the firm’s bankruptcy group. Prior to joining, Lev was in private practice.
Bradley Scott Miller has joined the communications, media and information technologies department of Davis Wright Tremaine LLP. He will represent media companies in defamation, copyright and other litigation concerning First Amendment issues. Previously, Miller was with Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP.

David Nichols has joined MacTemps Inc. as market manager for the Los Angeles market. Most recently, Nichols ran his own marketing and communications business, the Squires Group Inc.

Rhonda Brauer has joined the West Coast brand marketing practice of Burson-Marsteller as a managing director. Prior to joining, Brauer served as senior vice president at Fleishman-Hillard Los Angeles.
Iliki Haradiran has been promoted to marketing director at Los Angeles based M & A; Associates. She will be responsible for planning, managing and promoting special events, public and media relations. Most recently, she was account manager.

John S. Archibald has been promoted to associate vice president at the Los Angeles office of Grubb & Ellis Co. He specializes in the sales and leasing of commercial real estate in downtown Los Angeles. Archibald’s background includes three years as a project coordinator for a commercial interior general contractor.
Robin Platt has been promoted to regional operations manager for the Los Angeles office of Voit Management Co. She will oversee operations for more than 3 million square feet in the L.A. area. Platt has more than 16 years experience, including six with Voit and 10 years previous experience with a privately held commercial real estate firm.

Mitch Reitman has been appointed west region dealer director for Protection One. He will be based in the Culver City. Previously, Reitman was manager for the western region for Financial Security Services.

Jennifer A. Rottenberg has been named director of women in golf for Santa Monica-based American Golf Corp. In the newly created position, she will be responsible for creating opportunities for women to become involved in the game. Rottenberg joined American Golf after founding New Century Sports.
