Mark Hughes is global lead partner at KPMG and leads some of the firm’s largest private equity accounts. He is a leader in KPMG’s Deal Advisory practice and leads due diligence (financial, tax, IT, commercial operation, integration), transaction structuring, accounting advisory, agreement vetting and post close assistance for private equity clients. He has more than 20 years of professional experience in the UK and US, including 14 years focused within M&A. Hughes has advised significant private equity clients on a wide array of due diligence, accounting structuring, carve out issues and financial reporting aspects of transactions. He has extensive experience across industries and primarily focuses on technology and sports transactions. He has deep international experience having led cross-border deals.
