Poms founded insurance brokerage and risk management firm Poms & Associates in Calabasas in 1991, after clocking in about a decade at Gallagher. He has since grown the independent firm to more than $50 million in annual revenue, placing it among the nation’s Top 50 privately held brokerages. Poms & Associates has offices elsewhere in California as well as New Mexico, Utah and Ohio. Poms continues to serve on the board of directors for the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Foundation.
