Zimmer runs Hollywood’s third largest talent agency with 250 agents in L.A. County. He had been instrumental in the company’s moves into music, digital talent, fine arts and esports. UTA is in an expansion mode after arranging an investment in July 2022 from EQT Private Equity, which became its largest outside shareholder. As chief executive since 2012 until earlier this month, Zimmer had driven the agency’s growth and evolution into a diversified global company. He oversaw United Talent’s 2019 investment in sports agency KLUTCH Sports Group and the acquisition last year of Representatives of Outstanding Footballers, an agency that brings approximately 150 clients.
