Famed filmmaker Spielberg directed, co-wrote and produced the personal homage to his upbringing in “The Fabelmans,” which was nominated in 2023 for seven Oscars, including Best Picture. His six-decade career spans “Jaws,” “Jurassic Park” and “Schindler’s List.” He has a dozen projects percolating, including as producer of “The Thursday Murder Club,” based on the best-selling novel about four elderly residents of a retirement home who begin to solve murders in their spare time. Spielberg set up boutique Amblin Partners to house and financially benefit from his films, which are made across the Hollywood studio system. Spielberg is the recipient of various awards, including three Academy Awards (with two for Best Director) and 12 Emmy Awards.
