Berger co-founded Sawtelle-based radiology imaging company RadNet Inc. in 1980. Under his leadership, RadNet has grown into one of the largest radiology imaging companies in the nation, with a network of roughly 400 owned and/or operated outpatient imaging centers in eight states generating roughly $1.8 billion in revenue last year. In recent months, RadNet has aggressively pushed to increase artificial intelligence-driven applications for its imaging technologies, including collaboration agreements with GE Health Systems and Siemens Healthineers. These moves prompted RadNet shares to more than double in value last year through November. Berger has more than 25 years of experience in health care.
