Gensler
Cohen has been with Gensler for more than four decades and served as co-chief executive for nearly 20 years, overseeing the long-term goals and day-to-day operations of one of the world’s largest architecture and design firms by revenue. Last year, he became global co-chair, responsible for setting Gensler’s strategic priorities and overseeing its mission across 53 offices. Locally, Gensler designed the new headquarters and training facility for the Los Angeles Chargers and is working on a new $80 million project to modernize the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. The company also led the design of the recently completed $2.3-billion Delta Sky Way project at LAX. On the residential front, Gensler co-designed the mixed-use West Edge project that opened in 2023 in L.A.’s Sawtelle district.
