The Sage Group
This year marks Vidergauz’s 25th year as chief executive and managing director of The Sage Group, an investment bank based in Sawtelle. Over the years, the firm has expanded geographically with offices in Los Angeles and New York and partner offices in the UK and Europe. The Sage Group targets various industries including apparel, beauty and personal care, digitally native brands and e-commerce, health and wellness, specialty retail, and food and beverage. Notable transactions the company has facilitated include Vera Bradley’s purchase of Pura Vida and Lion Capital’s acquisition of PAIGE. Before founding The Sage Group, Vidergauz was a managing director at ING Barings in charge of mergers and acquisitions.
