Anaya leads a nationwide team that serves 11 million business owners and more than 3.4 million startup-to-mid-sized businesses. In Los Angeles, Anaya manages every line of business Bank of America operates. He also leads local corporate and social responsibility initiatives, including philanthropy and community development lending and investing. In February, the bank asked Anaya to also oversee its wildfire response and rebuild efforts which involved assembling a team of bankers to strategize both short-term and long-term plans. As a board member for the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, Anaya also played a role in creating the Small Business Disaster Recovery Fund to provide resources to businesses affected by the wildfires.
