David Lash is a leading pro bono professional in Los Angeles. He has been a litigator in private practice, focusing largely on real estate and other business disputes. He then served for nine years as the executive director of Bet Tzedek Legal Services, one of the largest legal aid organizations in the United States, providing high quality, life-affirming and life-saving legal services to thousands of low-income, elderly and disabled clients, completely free of charge and regardless of race, religion, immigration status, national origin. For the past 20+ years Lash has been the managing counsel for pro bono and public interest services at the international law firm of O’Melveny & Myers LLP, directing one of the most decorated pro bono pro-grams in the nations.
