Michael Gold is chair of JMBM’s Cybersecurity and Privacy Group. His clients include some of the best known brands in the world. He counsels cli-ents on a wide variety of matters, including privacy law compliance, data breach and security incident responses, regulatory investigations, crisis management, development of computer-based information retention systems, and forensic investigations of computer systems. Gold’s clients also rely on his counsel regarding emerging technologies such as AI and blockchain – and how these technologies will impact their businesses. He is known for his deep understanding of technology and has spoken at industry and professional programs about the unique privacy, governance and information security challenges presented by AI. He was also an early practitioner of “cybersecurity law.”
