Amber Finch, global chair of Reed Smith’s Insurance Recovery Group, has led high-profile insurance coverage disputes on the national and international stage pertaining to opioids, environmental issues, mass shootings, the pandemic, and the war in Ukraine, helping her commercial policyholder clients recover hundreds of millions of dollars in insurance proceeds through litigation. As global chair, she is growing the firm’s client base, maintaining its competitive edge in the market for insurance coverage issues and expanding its pipeline of attorneys from young associates to seasoned partners.
From early 2022 to 2024, Finch was Reed Smith’s Los Angeles office managing partner. She also previously served as partner chair of the firm’s African American business inclusion group STAARS.
