Ellis is the co-founder and chief executive of Relativity Space, which is based in Long Beach. Under his leadership, Relativity successfully launched the world’s first 3D printed rocket into space, but it failed to reach orbit. He led the private capital raise of $1.33 billion from the world’s leading investors across six funding rounds.
