Molly Ann Woods, CFRE, is a dynamic expert with proven success in the field of development and fundraising who, across her 35 year career, has successfully raised over $500M. Since 2022, Molly Ann has served as the Chief Development & Communications Officer at Doheny Eye Institute, one of the nation’s leading vision research institutions.

Prior to her role at Doheny, Molly Ann served as the Chief Development and Communications Officer at Mental Health America of Los Angeles (MHALA),  from 2018 to 2022. From 2014 to 2018, she was the Chief Development Officer at New Directions for Veterans, and from 2009 to 2014 Molly Ann was President of M & M Philanthropy Consulting. Molly Ann also held various development and fundraising roles at Art Center College of Design; UCLA Henry Samueli School of Engineering; Loyola Marymount University Seaver College of Science and Engineering; California State University, Los Angeles College of Engineering, Computer Science and Technology; Planned Parenthood Los Angeles; and Temple University. Her extensive background in fundraising and many leadership roles demonstrate her rich expertise in developing and leading highly successful teams that deliver strong results.

Molly Ann holds a master’s degree in history from California State University, Los Angeles, and a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from Temple University. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Junior League of Los Angeles and Pasadena Tournament of Roses.
