Jason Tokoro is a complex commercial litigator who is skilled at crafting a case strategy to accommodate his clients’ unique interests and objectives. He has achieved significant victories for both plaintiffs and defendants and has been recognized among the top litigators in Los Angeles.
Tokoro represented Zions Bancorporation, N.A. dba California Bank & Trust in a breach of contract case against JPMorgan Chase Bank. Tokoro defeated JPMorgan’s motion to dismiss the suit after it was removed to federal court and the suit was settled prior to trial. Tokoro is also outside counsel for the County of Los Angeles and handles the County’s complex litigation matters. He defended the County in one of the most heavily publicized civil trials in the country in 2022 – stemming from crash scene photographs taken by County personnel immediately following the tragic helicopter crash that killed nine individuals, including Kobe Bryant and his daughter.
