Kuba is the chief investment officer at Creative Media & Community Trust Corp. which is managed by CIM Group, the company he co-founded in 1994 with Avi Shemesh and Richard Ressler. CMCT focuses on the acquisition, ownership, operation and development of premier office and multifamily properties. CMCT recently closed on its acquisition of the 333-unit apartment building Channel House. It’s also acquired an interest in the Parkview Apartments in Echo Park and a majority interest in Eleven Fifty Clay in Oakland. Kuba, who serves on CIM’s investment committee, is also a co-founder of Dekel Development, which developed commercial and multifamily properties in Los Angeles.
