Ballmer, the world’s eighth-richest person with a reported net worth of $98 billion (via Bloomberg), served as Microsoft’s chief executive. He bought the Clippers franchise for $2 billion in 2014; it’s now valued at $3.73 billion. The Ballmer Group, co-founded by Steve and Connie Ballmer, has pledged more than $30 million to groups in Los Angeles County that focus on Black education, helping women coming out of incarceration and children’s rights.
