Shaking off pandemic stagnation in his live-event business, Leiweke helped launch a theater alliance partnership with 39 venues in January, advised college’s Big 12 Conference on gameday security in November, and helped broker CFG Bank Arena naming rights in Baltimore in October. In August, Leiweke worked the acquisition of Houston-based Spectrum Catering, Concessions and Event Services, which grows the company’s hospitality division. Early last year, Oak View unveiled a mammoth $3 billion arena/entertainment district venture in Las Vegas that is moving forward. Oak View was founded in 2015 by the Los Angeles-based Leiweke and music personal manager Irving Azoff.
