Chief Executive, Greater Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce
Salinas became the Chamber’s first woman and first Latina lead officer
when she arrived in 2018. She oversees the largest business association
in Los Angeles County, which has an annual budget of $15 million
and serves the interests of more than 235,000 businesses. In December,
she joined the U.S. Small Business Administration and the U.S. Resiliency
Council to announce a partnership to promote resiliency during
disaster, recovery and rebuilding in the economy for small businesses.
“Small businesses in the L.A. region have faced incredible adversity
and seemingly insurmountable challenges over the past few years,”
said Salinas. “Now is the time to promote resiliency and preparedness.”
