Chief Executive, Chairman, Farmers & Merchants Bank

The bank was founded by Walker’s great-grandfather C.J. Walker in
1907. Daniel Walker entered the business in 1975 alongside his father,
Ken Walker, and grandfather Gus Walker. Daniel Walker became
senior vice president of the bank’s trust company and three years
later was elected to the board. In 1994 he became president and
chair of the trust company. He became chief executive of the bank in
2008. He serves as an advisory director for the YMCA of Greater Long
Beach and as an emeritus director for the Memorial Medical Center
Foundation of Long Beach.
