Ng has led East West Bank’s transformation from a savings and loan
association with $600 million in assets to a full-service commercial
bank with more than $64 billion in assets. Under his 32-year leadership,
today’s East West Bank is a publicly traded institution and the
largest independent bank headquartered in Southern California. Ng
serves on the boards of Mattel Inc., USC and the Academy Museum of
Motion Pictures. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
