President and
Chief Executive, CBB Bancorp

Hong was elevated to president and chief executive of CBB Bancorp
and its Commonwealth Business Bank in April 2022, replacing the retiring
Joanne Kim, who had served for over a decade in the position.
Hong previously served as executive vice president for the bank, as
well as president and CEO of its Ohana Pacific Bank division. The bank’s
board cited Hong’s 35-plus years of executive level experience in the
Korean-American banking market, and his experience in Los Angeles
at Ohana Bank in particular, as a primary motivator for his elevation.
