With a passion for equality within the engineering industry, innovative leadership skills and a knack for attracting and retaining talent, Alysen Weiland brings invaluable expertise in engineering for higher education projects and has made significant contributions to her community and to company growth at Psomas for 17 years.
Weiland has worked in civil engineering for 20 years and is widely known for her expertise in stormwater master planning and design as well as planning and programming for college campuses. She currently manages 70 engineers in the company’s LA office and works on a variety of projects from pipeline design to civil site development. She oversees all education projects for Psomas and has a keen understanding of the design and planning challenges unique to campuses. She has lent her expertise on projects for higher education institutions such as UCLA, UCI, UC Riverside, and California State University Long Beach, among others.
